Burckhardt Compression was founded in 1844. Today, they are the market leader in the field of reciprocating compressor systems.
For the design of the compressor systems, a software was developed in cooperation with EPS, which calculates the selection of the compressor system with the desired performance from the environmental conditions and requirements. This software has been jointly developed over the past 30 years.
In order to keep pace with the latest technical developments, the software was revised as part of a project.

In collaboration with Burckhardt Compression AG, an analysis of the requirements and use cases was carried out and personas of the user groups were created.
The next step was to develop a UX concept for the various use cases that is tailored to the personas and allows simple and intuitive operation.
In collaboration with our partner EPSza in South Africa, we developed a modern UI design and implemented the most important screens in a style guide, which served as a reference for the development team during implementation.
The client was very satisfied with the UX concept, the designs created and the style guide.
