What is in the basic software?
The Service Desk and the tranSvias Basis module are integrated into every tranSvias module as standard and are therefore available to all users regardless of the scope of functions they have booked.
Service Desk
The EPS Service Desk is the central point of contact for all service enquiries relating to tranSvia’s fleet management. Customers can order hardware (new vehicles and spare parts), report faults, ask questions and submit suggestions or proposals for improvement.
tranSvias base
The basic module provides the foundation for the smart, digital management of vehicles and drivers. This includes:
tranSvia’s Truck Device records all relevant vehicle data – from GPS positions to speedometer data.
Depending on the module, users have access to the web, tablet or mobile app.
This provides all the central functions for the digital management of vehicles and drivers.
Localisation:
- Current vehicle positions can be tracked in real time on a clearly structured map.
- All journeys are recorded historically – including start and destination, route, journey time and driver.

Is tranSvias secure and GDPR compliant?
Yes. tranSvias encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-encrypted storage) and provides role-based access rights, audit logs and detailed logs. You can configure retention and deletion periods, conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) and (on request) choose hosting in the EU/CH to fulfil local data protection requirements. tranSvias also offers backup mechanisms, monitoring and measures to secure interfaces so that your fleet management can be used in compliance with the GDPR.
Can tranSvias be integrated into our existing hardware and systems?
Yes. tranSvias supports common telematics and tracker connections (e.g. OBD-II/plug-and-play trackers, FMS/can-bus data) as well as open standards for data transmission. On the system side, a REST API, webhooks, CSV/Excel exports and standardised integrations are available. SAML/OAuth options are available for SSO/identity providers. Our onboarding team checks your existing hardware and systems for compatibility free of charge and supports the integration (mapping, tests, go-live).
What are the costs of tranSvias and is the solution scalable?
tranSvias works with transparent models: usually one monthly licence per vehicle, optional hardware and installation costs as well as one-off setup/training fees. There are graduated prices for larger fleets and customised enterprise offers with an extended SLA and dedicated hosting. The platform is cloud-based and scales dynamically – you can add vehicles at any time.
